Noorder Poort. The following events will take place in the Netherlands at Noorder Poort, the practice and retreat center of the International Zen Institute and home of Jiun, Roshi, our spiritual leader: Two Dai-Sesshin (Great Retreats), Daily Life Retreat, Zen week-end, Youth Retreat (with Jishin, Osho and Modana Rouw), Family Retreat (with Jishin, Osho), and Attunement Through the Body (with Jiun, Roshi, Jolinda, Maria, and Modana), and a Zen day with senior students.

Dharma House closing. At the urging of Jiun, Roshi, Jishin, Osho, and the European Teachers, the Dharma House will be closed to all activities the month of August.
Introduction Classes. A series of four classes will be held on July 8, 15, 22, 29. Meditating as a group, reinforcing each other's efforts, we sit, chant, walk, drink tea together, listen to talks on the Dharma and learn how to live our human, daily life in harmony with all. Mindful Awareness Retreat. A non-residential week-end Mindful Awareness Retreat will be held at the Dharma House July 9-11. Friday: 7:30-9:30 p.m. Saturday: 8:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m, Sunday: 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. If interested in attending, please contact Jigen at (305) 252-3540.
